since 1993 we have hosted 10 youths ages 9-16 for five days of horsemanship.
Summer
Horsemanship Program

On the
farm students learn about safe horse handling, grooming, tacking, and horse
care.
Experts
visit the farm to share their expertise with the students.
Field
trips are a great teaching tool. Students learn about various breeds, see
newborn foals, and participate in a Clydesdale carriage driving demonstration.
Instructors
give daily riding and horse training lessons in our sand ring, turf dressage
arena and our round-pen.
We
also take a little down time for a change of pace...
Whether
we are relaxing in the pool, going for a trail ride, dressing up our horses,
or just horsing around we have fun!
