These are 15mm figures by Musket Miniatures, Stone Mountain, Essex, Minifig,
Polly Oliver and Old Glory. All go together well except Old Glory,
they are taller and heftier than the others. The house are the paper
ones from the back of the Fire~n~Fury rule book. The terrain is felt
brushed a little and sprayed with cheap paint for some variation.
I left the reverse side the original brown for large wooded battles and
late Fall/early Spring battles.
This battle is completely hypothetical. The Patriots must hold
the town until the Army arrives. Then the Continentals will take
the fight. The rules I used for this game are "Guns of Liberty" by Eric
Burgess.
The Patriot Militia await the British arriving down the road.
Thay know the Continental Army under General Greene is on the way.
But when will they arrive?
The British Cavalry have taken a position on the hill amongst the "large
boulders". They are protecting the left flank as the Regulars arrive.
The Militia on the right flank face the cavalry.
The Militia fire the first shots from behind a boulder wall with little
effect.
