	I used Add It!, a URL linking service, to get my home page URL listed with 30 different search engines and/or directories -- for free. Click it if you want to use this service. If you go through all the trouble, although it's been fun, to create a home page, you want people to come visit it. So you've got to get the word out to the world. You do this by submitting your URL (home page address) to various world wide web search engines like Yahoo!, etc. Vist my WWW Search page to find the links to over 50 search engines where you can submit your URL.
	FreeLinks! categorizes databases, search engines and links pages where you can list your site for free. A great place to bookmark and use!
	Start collecting free Animated GIF images for your home page. They're scattered all around my pages and there is a free 300k zip file full of 'em. You'll have to look over the banner pages to find it. It's easy to find! See my Animated GIFs page for some samples and links to other home pages with Animated GIFs.

	Doctor HTML is an online Web page analysis tool which retrieves a HTML page and reports on any problems that it finds. I highly recommend using this utility to check your page(s).
	SelfPromote does bend over backwards to help you toot your horn a little. Submit your site' s URL to the top 100 sites (search engines, indices, awards sites, etc.) This site is very thorough and will do a very good job for you. It' s a shareware service which asks for a donation but doesn' t press the point. You can use it for two weeks for free and the site will maintain your site' s form data during that time, afterwards, you' ll have to enter all of your submission form data again to use this service. Pay $10.00 and your data will be preserved for a year.
	The Web Developers Virtual Library is an outstanding online source of information about making home pages. You' ll find articles about authoring, graphics, HTML, JAVA, and etc., there.
	The eFUSE site recommended their HTML Editor, Netobjects Fusion. Now I'm not endorsing it, just their site, which is an excellent HTML How-2 resource.
	BUILDER.COM, a member of CNET Networks, is a webmasters resource for the folks who build the web.
	The site for site builders.
	HTML META TAGS can help get your site listed with the big search engines. The three most important tags: TITLE, DESCRIPTION, and KEYWORDS, should be included on all of your site' s entry pages. Website Garage has an online Meta Tag Generator to help you generate these tags. If you' ve already done this, then the folks at Easy Submit have an online Meta Tag Analyzer to check them out. Both services are free.
	HTML Goodies is brought to you by the folks at developer.com. The site offers tutorials for many important HTML TAGS and also offers valuable tips on: JAVA, DHTML, CGI, and many other areas of website development.
	JavaScript Q & A Master List presents questions about JavaScript and offers answers by example. It's a handy online guide where you can quickly look up questions on any area of JavaScript and find the corresponding answer in a single click.
	Lot's of good and free WebTools on this page!
