| I used Add It!, a URL linking service, to get my home page URL listed with 30 different search engines and/or directories -- for free. Click it if you want to use this service. If you go through all the trouble, although it's been fun, to create a home page, you want people to come visit it. So you've got to get the word out to the world. You do this by submitting your URL (home page address) to various world wide web search engines like Yahoo!, etc. Vist my WWW Search page to find the links to over 50 search engines where you can submit your URL. | |

| Start collecting free Animated GIF images for your home page. They're scattered all around my pages and there is a free 300k zip file full of 'em. SelfPromote does bend over backwards to help you toot your horn a little. Submit your site' s URL to the top 100 sites (search engines, indices, awards sites, etc.) This site is very thorough and will do a very good job for you. It' s a shareware service which asks for a donation but doesn' t press the point. You can use it for two weeks for free and the site will maintain your site' s form data during that time, afterwards, you' ll have to enter all of your submission form data again to use this service. Pay $10.00 and your data will be preserved for a year. |

Website Garage has an online Meta Tag Generator to help you generate these tags. If you' ve already done this, then the folks at Easy Submit have an online Meta Tag Analyzer to check them out.
